Our Story
We are Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS), a national non-profit organization empowering immigrants and refugees to begin their new life, feel at home, and thrive in Canada. Since 1959, we have been offering free programs and services in over 30 languages to help newcomers start their life here.
We help newcomers in finding employment, family literacy, navigate systems in Canada, language classes, education and other life-giving services. Newcomers can connect with our committed settlement team and participate in information sessions and workshops held at our offices in Toronto, Mississauga, and Brampton, as well as at partner locations, including libraries, schools, and community centers.
We strongly believe in equal opportunities for all to achieve success. That’s why we provide guidance and support that take into consideration different languages and cultures, while respecting the different needs of individuals.
At CCS, we support individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, country of origin, immigration status, sexual orientation, or political affiliation.
When you seek guidance and support from us, you can have peace of mind knowing that your personal information is in safe hands. We understand the importance of maintaining your privacy and will ensure that your information remains confidential.
At CCS, we are here to help you navigate the challenges of settling into a new country, and we welcome all newcomers to access our services.
